Šesti zagrebački međunarodni festival vina i kulinarstva održat će se: 25. i 26. studenoga 2011, u zagrebački hotel Regent Esplanade.

Festival će biti otvoren 25. studenoga (petak) u 11 sati.

Oba dana, 25. i 26. studenog (petak i subota), festival je otvoren od 11 do 20 sati. Festival također ima humanitarnu značajku. Dan uoči njegova svečanog otvorenja, 24.studenog, bit će organizirana humanitarna večera i vinska aukcija.

Posebni gosti festivala biti će grupa inozemnih novinara i trgovaca koji će od 21. studenoga do svečanoga otvaranja upoznavati Hrvatsku i njenu enogastro ponudu. Festival je u cijelosti posvećen kulturi stola, vina i hrani, kao nezaobilaznom dijelu gospodarstva i hrvatske turističke ponude. Budući da se priredba održava uoči božićnih i novogodišnjih blagdana bit će to ujedno i dobar uvid za poslovne ljude i građane o mogućnostima u mjesecu darivanja.

At the traditional 43rd Wine Show “Bedekovčina” we have displayed our blackberry wine KUPILEK. A panel of judges, comprising of professional enologists with Ms. Stanka Herjavec, Prof. Sc.D. and Mr. Zdenko Ivanković, Dipl.Ing. at its head, has rated 76 samples of the very best wines of Krapinsko-Zagorska County.

One of the twelve gold winning wines is our blackberry wine KUPILEK. We value our gold medal awarded by a quality control profession and we are even more encouraged and inspired to enhance our future work.

Although there is no necessary reason to drink a glass of wine or two, it is not needless to say how it precisely affects Your health! Besides pleasure and relaxation, wine also has the following benefits:

1. Stimulates memory

Vino

Wine guards Your memory. Research shows that women in their seventies which regularly drank wine solved crosswords with more success than other women their age which abstained from alcohol. Wine prevents thrombosis and reduces inflammatory processes, which is excellent for Your heart. Also the alcohol in wine increases good cholesterol. According to a research, women who drank one glass of wine every day had much better memory skills than those who didn’t consummate wine.

2. Helps with weight loss

Research shows that people who drink a glass of wine every day have lesser body mass from those who drink it just occasionally. In fact, alcohol in wine can provoke the body to burn extra calories even 90 minute after consummation. Beer also has similar effect.

3. Strengthens immunity

One British research has discovered that people who drink glass of wine a day are less submissive to get infected with Helicobacter pylori bacteria. This bacteria is a main cause of gastritis, ulcers and gastric carcinoma. Half glass of wine a day can defend the body from food poisoning, showed one Spanish research.

4. Protects from carcinoma

Experts have discovered that glass of wine a day reduces risk of ovarian carcinoma for up to 50%. Experts find that wine has this effect due to large quantities of antioxidants and fitoestrogens, which act against carcinoma.

5. Strengthens bone structure

Women who drink moderate quantities of wine have more bone mass than those who don’t consume it. Alcohol increases the level of estrogen, hormone which slows down the destruction of old bone mass.

6. Reduces risk of diabetes

According to one study from Harvard, women who drink one or two glass of wine a day have around 40% lesser risk of falling ill with diabetes type 2. Although the reasons are not clear, it seems that wine reduces resistance to insulin at diabetics.
